I read several reviews from different sites before purchasing this flat iron. I have 4a/4b hair (African American). My hair is relaxed. I had to set the flat iron to 375-400 in order for my hair to get straight. I used argan oil before using it. My first time using the flat iron, I did not achieve the desired results. After a couple of times using the flat iron, I learned to get my hair as straight as possible using the blow dryer. My hair was definitely straight after that. I could not see the difference using the infrared. I own a sedu flat iron and I cannot say that it is better than my sedu either.

I LOVEEEEE my new croc!!! def. has good reviews for a reason!!! my hair stays straight and is more silky. I recently had to cutt off alot of my hair due to old dry split ends. I try not to use a straightner alot, I want my hair to grow back more healthy so I wanted a straightner that was nicer to my hair. I use a heat protectant spray or sometimes a serum. Works fast. You can find it in hair stores and online for almost 3 times the price. Dont spend that much. This is the same thing, just not as harsh on your bank! Best investment!
